We don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach and provide a bespoke service to each individual client organisation we work with.

Every assignment undertaken by Achieve Consultants is with the full recognition of the clients’ culture. We do not provide off-the-shelf products as all fundraising plans and activities are bespoke and developed with your organisation not for it. Every effort is made to take full advantage of the capability and capacity of your staff and volunteer teams. Each plan is carefully developed and designed so that the appropriate amount and type of consultancy is provided.

We work closely with our clients, identifying and then helping to implement a solution that is appropriate to their particular culture, needs, circumstances as well as the current internal and external environments. We are compassionately honest, offer an opinion and will share it with you. We use language is that is friendly, conversational and reduces jargon to its absolute minimum and will explain specialist terms when we have to use them. We are informative, supportive and professional.

Our approach is not for you to become dependent on us but to help you develop skills and expertise within your organisation.

An important goal of the relationship is to leave your organisation stronger and more self-sufficient at the conclusion of our involvement with staff, volunteers and trustees/board members being better able to develop your organisation with more funds and increased income generation capacity.

As consultants we are bound by the codes and ethics of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and the Fundraising Regulator.

This ensures a high standard of consultancy for you – the client. We carry out all work for a contracted and agreed fee – never on the basis of a percentage of the monies raised (i.e. commission basis). We believe this is fraught with problems and is considered unethical and frowned upon by the Charity Commission, the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, as well as donors and funders.

We charge a complete rate for any individual project or a monthly retainer. We can also quote a daily or monthly rate depending on the likely duration of the contract especially with Interim Management work.

The rate for our work varies according to the type of work, the length of the assignment, etc. as in our experience, each piece of work is different and we will discuss our process and aim to offer you a service within your budget.

Our fees are agreed in advance of any work and are totally transparent. We aim to give value for money.

We charge travel, accommodation, subsistence and other related expenses where appropriate with prior to agreement with our clients.
